Books of ARVIND NARSIMA - RK's review

The Aravan Head

It is the second book of the author after ‘The Investigator Series - Arya’

Right from beginning the story with three different incidents, the author would never give a chance to close the book.

The first half of the chapters were so gripping and would leave us thinking who, why, how…
And other chapters would unfold answers for each question.

Each character was described in such a way that we become curious to know what it would do to the story.

ENDING EACH CHAPTER WITH A SMALL HINT FOR THE ALTERNATE CHAPTERS HAS WORKED WELL WHILE READING. SMART WORK FROM THE AUTHOR TO ENGAGE READERS.

We could visualize each chapter as a movie before our eyes as every granular detail was explained well. To quote, Arya’s inquiry, Arya-Pavithra love, Fight sequence, Kunwar attack, Scolding ministers, Arya’s investigation, Antagonists illegal operation, and climax are the portions I enjoyed the most.

The story had touched various social issues and ended differently which adds good flavor to the story.

FOR A GRIPPING STORY READ, ONE CAN DEFINITELY READ THIS BOOK.

The Chosen One

I have earlier read his first two books: Arya - A new beginning and The Aravan Head.

Out of which the latter had made a great impact.

Now his 3rd book too gave me a good reading experience.

It has n number of storylines with a single plot.

During my college days, I have never used books for studying.

In particular, I've never thought of knowing the name of foreign author books as you all know what would be the reason behind it.

I followed the same tradition for reading fiction or non-fiction books as well.

But this book, with respect to the language, is of international standard. I came across many new words. I felt like I was being taken to the next level of the reading experience. It bridged the gap between reading Indian author books and foreign author books.

Though the first few pages were Greek and Latin to me, I just kept reading with some hope. It was interesting to switch between different storylines at various points of reading and all move towards a single plot.

Answers to all the questions in this book will be answered in his next book THE WATCHERS. Eagerly looking forward to it.

Amulet, White crow, Don, US president, Itamar, Veer Bahadhur - waiting to know how all these would be handled in the next part...!

RK Review - Soorarai Pottru

RK Review

This is not a review that would help you decide whether you can watch this movie or not.

Ok, I can hear a few thinking that you have already seen the movie. Fine. Also, this review is not going to analyse the movie and discuss the nook and corner of the movie like revealing hidden details or various layers within the movie.

It will just list my thoughts/emotions while watching the movie.

Firstly, we are more used to watching mass/commercial movies on festival days. But I believe this is the first inspirational movie I watched on a festive occasion as far as I remember.

It gives you a feel to get up, work hard and achieve something. There was no surprise that while watching a few scenes I became Ratchagan Nagarjuna seeing my veins flowing through my hand.

The movie seeds a Never Give Up attitude in you. It helps you realise that the path to success is not easy but also promises that success is achievable to anyone. The movie announces to all business lovers/MBA graduates that ideas are their first investment.

The romantic/love scenes played together by Suriya and Aparna Balamurali are not usual. They had their unique style such that we never darted our eyes.

The lyrics of the songs are kind of rural which worked very well. I got three songs to add to my playlists.

A much-needed success for the Kaappaan starrer. The 'Irudhi Suttru' director has not disappointed and met the expectations.

So, plan some time for this movie, watch it, get inspired and stay motivated.

By the way, I am planning for a running today evening...! Running on a festival day is the outcome of watching Soorarai Pottru.

Looking forward to more such scripts from Suriya.

Thank you! Will catch up with my next piece of writing shortly.
